Sovereign Hill Gold Mining Township is a recreated Gold Mining Settlement built on the site of original diggings. It is a step back in time to the 1850's when gold was discovered near Ballarat.
Experience the era - pan for gold, ride the stage coach and explore the mine. The Gold Museum is another attraction not to be missed, it contains a rich display of uses of gold "today and tomorrow".
Visit one of Victoria's finest privately-owned wildlife parks where you will see Tasmanian Devils, Koalas, Kangaroos, Wombats, Reptiles and Salt Water Crocodiles.
